ArcSight Announces ArcSight Protect ’08 Conference and Keynote Speakers
Fourth Annual Event to Focus on Customer Panels and Case Studies that Highlight How to Protect Your Business and Achieve Optimal Results by Leveraging ArcSight Solutions

Cupertino, Calif. – April 28, 2008ArcSight, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARST), a leading global provider of compliance and security management solutions that protect enterprises and government agencies, today announced the keynote speakers for its fourth annual conference taking place in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area from September 7-10, 2008. The company also announced the focus of the conference; ArcSight Protect ‘08 is all about protecting enterprises and government organizations. The conference will address industry trends and best practices in security, user monitoring, log management, compliance and networking.

The conference keynote speakers include the following:

  • Cynthia Cooper, CPA, CISA, CFE - Cooper is most well-known for her role in uncovering the corporate fraud at WorldCom, the largest corporate fraud in history to date. She was named one of Time Magazine’s 2002 Persons of the Year after detecting and reporting the fraud. Cooper is also the author of “Extraordinary Circumstances: The Journey of a Corporate Whistleblower” (February 2008, John Wiley & Sons).
  • Robert W. Cressey, president and founder of Good Harbor - Cressey advises clients on homeland security, cyber security and counterterrorism issues. He is currently an on-air counterterrorism analyst for NBC News. He has previously served as chief of staff to the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board at the White House as well as director for transnational threats on the National Security Council.

Additional speakers will include ArcSight Chairman and CEO Robert Shaw; Hugh Njemanze, ArcSight CTO and executive vice president of research and development; and many ArcSight customers.

ArcSight Protect ’08 will feature more than 70 breakout sessions focusing on a variety of topics, including compliance, networking, user monitoring and log management. In addition, tutorials will be offered after the conference.
