ArcSight Named Finalist for Reader Trust and Excellence Awards in 2008 SC Magazine Awards Program 

ArcSight ESM and ArcSight Log Management Suite Both Selected as Among Top Security Solutions of 2007

 CUPERTINO, Calif. - January 15, 2008 - ArcSight, Inc., a leader in enterprise security and compliance management solutions, today announced it has been named a finalist in two categories of SC Magazine’s Awards program for outstanding achievement in information-technology (IT) security. The ArcSight ESM 4.0 is a finalist for a Reader Trust Award in the Best Event Management Solution category, while ArcSight ESM and the Log Management Suite together are a finalist for an Excellence Award in the Best Regulatory Compliance Solution category.

• ArcSight ESM received the Gold Medal in the security information management (SIM) category from Information Security magazine’s 2007 Readers’ Choice Award. The award was given based on responses from more than 1,500 readers, who rated more than 340 products spanning 15 product categories.
